1st Kirton Scout Group attended the St Georges day parade along the Promenade at Felixstowe along with other groups from the Orwell District. It was a great turnout by all the groups and was lovely to see all the flags flying.
Fortunately it was a lovely, dry, sunny day as the groups were unable to have the usual service in the Spa Pavillion this year, but a trailer was set up outside the Spa and a shorter service was held there.
We hope to tell you about all the fun things we do, introduce you to the sections and give you other information about the Scout Assosication.

Sunday 2nd June 2013 Kirton Recreation Ground (IP10 0PW) at 10:00
This year marks 40 years of the Scout group so our annual car boot sales will be our biggest ever, We are looking for extra stalls and activities to fill the whole field and make it a fun filled day for everyone.
Ideas so far include bouncy castle, ice cream van, candy floss, face painting, cocount shy, panning for gold and course the famous bacon and eggs rolls will be available along with tea and coffee and hopefully a huge number of booters selling their wares.
