Scouts attended Orwell District Scout Camp this weekend. The camp is a competition which involves gaining points for activity participation, cooking and campsite .

Activities on Saturday included canoeing, abseiling, climbing, archery, shooting and many more. In the evening there was It’s a Knock Out involving many bouncy castles and the traditional go kart races using home made go karts.

On Sunday activities were based more on Scouting skills including tent pitching, firelighting, cooking and pioneering. We didn’t win but our 4 young Scouts had a great time and did very well against some much bigger and older troops.
