On July 12th several of our cubs arrived at District Cub Camp at 6pm ready for flag break 6-45pm and a fun weekend ahead.

After flag break we had a sport competition followed by a hot dog supper, hot chocolate and then bed.

On Saturday morning we were all up early, had breakfast, flag break and then went into groups to work on a badge.

At lunch it was back to our bases and then some free time which was spent mostly playing in the woods and on the grass area at the back of our camp. Later the tug of war was hard and we didn’t win but we tried our best.

Some helpful parents came onto site and cooked us some nice food followed by camp fire then back to our tents to sleep.

After breakfast and flag break on Sunday morning we went into small groups to prepare the variety show for the afternoon.

The sun shone all weekend which made the leaders very happy as all tents were taken down dry.

At the end of Sunday all the cubs got their badges and then it was time to go home. A good time was had by all.
