1st Kirton Cubs spent one fun weekend during September camping at Roselea near Rendlesham.

The cubs enjoyed pioneering, cutting and chopping logs for the fire, and then lighting the fire which was great fun and kept everyone warm.

They also prepared some food, cooked it and ate it. We think it was edible!!

There were games to play and, of course, the obligatory camp fire sing song.

And during the weekend the cubs also had a hike in Rendlesham Forest to tire them out.

A great time had by all and a big Thank You goes to all the leaders who took part.
