When do we meet? On Wednesday at the Scout hut in Kirton, near the Church. Please contact us for more details.

How old do I need to be? Scouts are aged 10½-14.

What is the uniform like?  Sea Scouts wear a dark blue jumper with a  Group scarf (ours is plain red) and a Seaman’s Class 2 round cap with ‘Sea Scout’ tallyband. Smart trousers are worn for parades.

Where do the badges go? Have a look here.

What does the Sea Scout Flag look like? The Sea Scout Flag is navy blue, bearing the Scout symbol and motto.

What is the difference between Scouts and Sea Scouts? They are all members of the Scout Association and follow the same Scout training programme as all other Scouts. However, the uniform is different to land Scouts and we try to do more water activities and our ceremonies have a nautical flavour to the them, such as at flag break, we “Pipe” the colours.
